Wahaca Restaurant
Covent Garden, London
Wahaca is a new restaurant in London’s Covent Garden. We were asked by the projects architect Softroom to help the contractor put a wall together at the entrance to the basement restaurant. It meant building under an existing ceiling which restricted the height of the wall. Because the restaurant is in the basement so the full six tonnes of material for the wall had to be barrowed down the stairs! Apart from that the contractors got the hang pretty quickly and built the wall in a day.
