Try a weekend building course using rammed earth. Courses are fun and you get to try earth building suitable for self build, earth homes, commercial or developing economy projects.
Rammed earth is high mass, load bearing material with some of the lowest emissions for structural masonry. Rammed earth also has a BREEAM A+ rating so its a good time to start thinking about using it as part of a sustainable design. Its fun too, building something with such basic materials, and you get to knock one down as well.
