Fabric Formwork

University of East London 2008

Rammed earth is normally built in a stiff box, but earth building is constantly surprising. Following on from previous years work with post grad students, more fabric formwork. This year we worked on reducing the number of hard elements and increasing the ease of access. These images show a bit of work in progress as well as a finished piece.
