RESET workshop wall
This was a three day rammed earth building course run with RESET and built on a site as the main structure of a new greenhouse. The course participants were shown formwork assembly, material mixing, placing and ramming, footing details and insets.
The wall was 14m sq. and effectively rammed in a little over a day. It features a battered face with timber insets for fixing shelving. Images show mixing lime into the footing, and then the placing of a dpc before building the rest of the structure in pure earth taken from the site.
The formwork was comprised of scaffold planks and the dividag bolts and was easy to both assemble and take down.
