Morocco has a long history of using rammed earth and was the stepping off point for introducing the technology into Spain in the 9th century.
Evidence of the technology is widespread, from the city walls of Marrakeche and Tarandant to the Kasbahs of the Atlas. There is a wide variety to the building stock, single to multi-storey building, for housing, commercial, agricultural uses and probably many more.
