Examples in Portugal
Portugal, like Spain, has a long association with rammed earth. These are just a few images of old and new work taken on a two day trip to look at a renovation job north of the Algarve. In this area there were thousands of rammed earth buildings, and a variety of other non-cementitious building technologies.
