Rammed earth in Chile

Despite its well deserved reputation for seismic activity one builder Aqua Tierra Sol has successfully created a new office space which is semi buried in the side of a hill. Originally it was going to be a garage but eventually ended up being too nice. In the massive 2010 8.8 magnitude quake this region experienced shocks of 7.2, but the walls did not crack or show any signs of change.
